Books and stories have always been important to Georgiana. She was named for her mother's favorite character in Pride and Prejudice, though her dad thought she was named after him. She grew up on the Atlantic coast listening to aunts and uncles telling stories and myths surrounding New Bern, NC. Those ghostly stories influenced her writing, to the point a professor asked if she could write a story without paranormal characters or undertones. She tried!

Years later, she continued to write with no intention of publishing. In 1994, her supportive husband contacted GA Romance Writers and drove her to her first meeting. Wonderful things began to happen. She met people who encouraged her and helped her improve her writing mechanics. About that time she met her sister of her heart and cheerleader, Gina Dyer, who creates and designs all her book covers.

In 2019, Georgiana won the Georgia Independent Author of the Year for Romance. She has published six short-stories, eight novels and is working on the ninth.

On October 14, 2023, Georgiana is participating in the Sweet as a Peach, GA Indie Author Event with approximately 80 other authors. She would love to see some of us there.
